No one can give such a instrumental symphony embedded with a folk beat as interlude
Listening in headphone can hear so many other sounds (again IR is selfish in righteous way he reserves the best for his voice )

When a new album comes i always rush to hear if there is songs sung by IR
How about "vaanam mella" from NEPV what a mix with a variety of musical instruments

Anyways this song is very unique as it gives me "entering a temple" feeling with that big gong temple sound
and once again he uses guitar tune very simple tune and OMG..a "urumi" (i think ) comes in interludes
Interstingly first and second interlude he keeps it same probably he himself likes it very much (i guess)
very rare song with guitar and urumi

Paandiyanin raajjiyathil uyyalaala, in IR voice!!!  Listening to it for the FIRST time, never even heard that it existed.

Oru kaatril alayum from "Naan Kadavul".  Such a soulful, heart-ripping song.  The hook is in the beginning itself. That Sarangi disturbs me. I can't imagine anyone else singing this.

Usha, it is indeed from Kadar Majee's YouTube channel. I just played it, the link works. The link you have posted, is from another user, which I was not aware of.  But since  I posted the YouTube link here, hope you could hear it from this blog itself.

Here is another soul-healer! Again, it had to be in IR voice ONLY.  Kaattu vazhi kaal nadaiya from Balu Mahendra's "Adhu Oru Kanaa Kaalam".  IR reuses this tune for the Paa BGM.  I don't care; when else is the North going to listen to such SOULFUL Background Scores?!
