IR'Geethanjali is what I start my weekends with .. since everybody sleeps late in the weekends in the family. I get to play this in the morning, Another such album is raajavain ramanamaalai. #5 - veRRigalin - I dont remember but lyrics is probably by IR - "kaRRu vaitha kalaigal ellaam kanivathu nin thiruvaruLE". You have to learn but what you do becoming successful is in Her hands .. the hard worker himself speaking, I guess.

Not necessarily devotional, but a few of my favourite songs which I would NOT have rather heard in anyone else's voice, not even SPB or KJY:

1) Janani Janani (of course)

2) Nila athu vaanathu mele( slightly abrupt change in genre from the 1st one, but I am just typing what comes to my mind)

3) En gAnam indru arangerum - No SPB, no KJY please, only Raja

4) Pazhaya sogangal - Had to thrown in another EVK song there

4) Veetukku veetukku vaasapadi - My father has sung this song on stage on various occasions and I have loved it since my childhood, long before I knew it was Raja's folk trip on Mozart's symphony.

5) Naan thedum sevanthipooovithu - The song gets its identity from Raja's singing and the bass guitar prelude

6) Jeevane jeevane - though recent, it still finds a place among my all time favourites in Raja's voice

7) Kadhal oviyam - I prefer it to Maate mantramu sung by SPB
