வழக்கம் போல ராசா இசையோடு உணவு ஒப்பிடல் - ஒரு சின்ன மாற்றத்துடன். பொதுவாக அவரது சிறப்பான பாடல்களைத் தேன் / கற்கண்டு / லட்டு / ஜிலேபி என்றெல்லாம் சொல்லுவது எல்லோருடைய வழக்கம். இன்றைய ஒப்பிடலில் அவற்றுக்கு மாறாகக் "காரா பூந்தி"

அதாவது, கடலை மாவில் செய்யும் சுவை கூட்டாத வெறும் பூந்தி அவரது மெட்டுக்கள் என்று வேடிக்கையான ஒப்பிடல் கருவியிசை சேர்க்காமல் ஒலிப்பதை வெறும் இனிப்பற்ற பூந்தி (அல்லது வடக்கர் செய்வது போல் தயிரில் இட்டு / காய்கறியோடு சேர்த்து) சாப்பிடுவது போல். (வார்த்தை தவறி விட்டாய்?)

பெரும்பாலான நேரங்களில் இனிப்பு பூந்தி என்ற அளவில் பரிமாறப்படும். கூடுதல் பட்ஜெட் இல்லாமல் வரும் தயாரிப்பாளர்களுக்கு இயன்ற அளவில் கருவியிசை சேர்த்து வழங்குதல். 
கோவைத்தம்பி, சங்கிலி முருகன் et al இதில் சேர்த்தி. சுவை இருக்கும் , ஒலிப்பதிவெல்லாம் காசுக்குத்தக்க அளவில். 

என்றாலும், இதிலும் ராசாவின் அப்போதைய எண்ண ஓட்டம் போல் இனிப்பு மற்றும் நெய் போன்றவை அளவெல்லாம் மாறும். பூந்தியும் வடிவமும் பெரிதோ சிறிதோ ஆகலாம்.  
ஆனால், லட்டு ஆகாது - ஏனென்றால், பட்ஜெட் பற்றாக்குறை மும்பை போக முடியாது. கூடுதல் காசு கேட்கும் கருவியிசைக்கலைஞர் கிடையாது 

செலவு செய்யத் தயாரிப்பாளர் தயார் என்றால் லட்டுக்கு ராசா காரண்டி ! அதுவும் என்னென்ன சைசில் பூந்தி செய்து லட்டாக்க வேண்டுமோ அப்படியெல்லாம் தயாராகும்! சுடச்சுட நெய்யில் சர்க்கரைப்பாகில் கலந்து அருமையான லட்டு! புன்னகை மன்னன் / ஆனந்தக்கும்மி / தளபதி / அக்னி நட்சத்திரம் - இப்படியெல்லாம் வேண்டுமென்றால் காரா பூந்திக்கு வேறு செலவுகள் செய்து சுவை கூட்ட வேண்டும்.

மெட்டு ஒரே தரம் தான். இசைக்கலைஞர்கள் / ஒலிப்பதிவுக்கூடம் / தொழில்நுட்பம் -  நிறையச்செலவுகள் செய்தால், கூடுதல் சிறப்பான லட்டு தருவதற்கு ராசா காரண்டி. கற்பனை அல்ல - வரலாற்றில் கண்டதே!

இன்னும் கொஞ்சம் மெனக்கெட்டால் "திருப்பதி லட்டும்" கிடைக்கும். அதாவது, குரு (மலையாளம்) / நீதானே என் பொன்வசந்தம் எல்லாம் வேண்டுமென்றால் செலவு கூடுதல் செய்ய வேண்டியிருக்கும். 
புடாபெஸ்ட் / லண்டன் என்றெல்லாம் ஆர்கெஸ்ட்ரா வைக்க வேண்டி வரும்.

Karaikkudi Narayanan's recap of the recording of 2 songs for achchANi is quite interesting (thAlAttu piLLai uNdu thAlAttu & mAdha un kOvilil)

He is full of praises for IR.

Also shares some interesting titbits, such as:

1. IR was the guitarist for "unnidam mayangukiREn" (V Kumar music, KJY song)
2. kAdhodu thAn got plagiarized by V Kumar for veLLi vizhA (from mErE nAm joker)
3. Kannadasan praised the lyrics of Vaali for that kAdhOdu thAn song
4. Shankar Ganesh tried to once again to plagiarize the same tune LOL
5. IR was signed up for achchANi instead of MSV because the producer / director could not afford the mellisai mannar (who was charging 40K at that time but IR was pushed to do for 8K)
6. Of course, the professional and sentimental commitment of IR - to run around to complete 2 songs in one hour to save the producer / director!

Here Karaikkudi says 'nilA kAyudhu' was originally for his movie - that got cut by censor. Though IR tried to help (with LV Prasad connection), it did not work completely.
