Bappi Lahiri passed away - name synonymous with Indian Disco

Got this sad news today that the famous music director died last night.

Heartfelt condolences!

Will collect some of his songs that I used to listen often during 80's in this thread!

I tweeted this song today - it has an awesome prelude (portion of which is again repeated in the first interlude) and the superb singing of SJ-SPB pair!

My chithappA had this song played in his new Panasonic stereo and that was the first time I listened to this song and instantly liked and got impressed with.
(Not sure if this had any western source / inspiration etc. which is quite possible - regardless, the song had been a personal fav)

With the Bappi Lahiri song from "sharAbi"  I watched this movie for a second time with a friend in Bangalore - very long movie but it was fun to watch in theater those bachelor days!
