Played manikkuyilu saththam from magudi in car.
my kids loved it.. synth it maybe but the prelude is out of the world. The tune reminds me of that song poonguyile poonguyile from aranmanai kiLi..but raaja owns the song.. awesome..

இளையராஜா இசையமைத்தால் மட்டுமே இதில் ஜீவன் இருக்கும் என்பதால் அவரையே இசையமைப் பாளராகவும் ஆக்கியிருந்தார். நடுவில் எவ்வளவோ சோதனைகளைக் அவர் கடந்துதான் இந்தப் படத்தை முடித்தார் என்று கூறப்படுகிறது.

இவர் ஒருமுறை லண்டன் சென்றிருந்தபோது, அங்கு சில மர்ம நபர்களால் கடத்தப்பட்டார் என்றும் கூட தகவல்கள் பரவின. எப்படியோ போராடி இந்த படத்தை முடித்துவிட்டார். தணிக்கைக் குழு அனுமதிக்காக அண்மையில் படத்தை திரையிட்டாராம். அங்குதான் இவருக்கு அப்படியொரு பதில் தரப்பட்டதாம். ‘நட்பு நாட்டுக்கு எதிரா நீங்க படம் எடுத்திருக்கீங்க, அதனால் உங்க படத்திற்கு அனுமதி இல்லை’ என்று மறுத்துவிட்டார்களாம்.

Not any film. Mottai composed that for his Italy concert. When encoring that in Chennai later that year, he had lyrics in Telugu and Tamil and had them sung. Tamil lines iirc were by Vaali. Telugu yaaru ezhudhinAnganu therila.

What is unusual about 7 days? confused

It used to be only 3 days average...so 7 days is actually longer, by IR standards. When he was doing 40+ films in a year, it would have been impossible for him to do songs + BGM if he took "more than" 7 days for those movies (and many of them are called classics by everyone today).

R Parthiban has posted the same 7 day biz, translating the article, in the comments. However, it is not clear if he subscribes to the "ஏழே" surprise Wink

To be read as "indha vayasulayin EzhE nALil" And if I'm right, he did this as he was admitted for Gastritis and had a check up. So pretty amazing IMO that he actually did this with those health concerns at 72 yrs in 7 days.
