This is clash of the titans. Kamal the actor and scriptwriter vs IR the song composer and background scorer. Of course, there's crazy but with Kamal's script and the man himself as muse, it's easy to churn out some brilliant dialogues.

Which other movie can make you cry and laugh your ass off within the 2 and half hours. Blame or credit, this film is the reason for influx of all kinda films in Malaysia back in the 90s.

Yeah. Nalla'gudhu but I liked the earlier (the longer one "Do you want to become a warrior?") trailer better.

The award winning director Seenu Ramasamy has got a ‘U’ certificate from the censor board for his forthcoming Neerparavai.

The film is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin and stars Vishnu and Sunaina in the lead roles.

Meanwhile Seenu Ramasamy applied to the state government authorities for entertainment tax exemption as the film carries a Tamil title and has also an ‘U’ certificate. However tax authorities have rejected the film.

Saw English Vinglish. Posting here because I saw the thamizh version. Largely mokkai. Wonder how this film received so many positive reviews.

What Worked:

1. Sridevi. Welcome back.

2. Amit T's BG score.

3. Some comic moments like the little one narrating the 17 coke story, the bride making fun of her fiancee etc., quite natural

4. Little moments between Sridevi and the youngest child, sridevi and the french dude (french-thamizh dialogue exchanges)

5. Priya Anand and Ajith, probably his best performance ever.



What did not work:

1. Another wimpy madarasi character. Bolly will you fuckin STOP?

2. Gay professor and the boring student gang

3. Covininient character arcs and sloppy story telling



I d only give it 2/5.

America-la weekend release aagalainnaa waste dhaan. Nobody will go to the theaters on weekdays except the fans. But nalla report irukkadhaala not washout. My brother (who is atmus, the distribeetor) is visiting us today, will get more info from him.

PS: He said Kamal has quoted an exorbitant amount for Viswaroopam and he aint (may not) buying it.
