Azhagar Saamiyin Kudhirai Title Theme - Live performance by his team & BSO, at some old concert on Jaya Tv (maybe 2011 concert)

At the audio launch, IR said "If this title music does not move you to tears, I will quit composing"!  He meant it!!  The songs are great, too. "Kudhikkira kudhira kutti" is the 8th wonder, without any exaggeration.

Made a compilation of some not-so-popular BGMs, that I've enjoyed.

Some of them were very recent discoveries - Iniya Uravu Poothathu (1987), Sakkarai Panthal (1988)

Cleaning up the audio took a lot of time. Some of the lovely BGM pieces are interrupted by the actors' voice or other effects! Hope someday we can hear extended versions of some of these short BGM pieces.

Adding one more of such UNNOTICED Background Score snippets from Moodupani - a very SHORT barely a minute long, Violin piece, so beautiful beyond words.  

Vizhaluku iraitha neer-kind!  IR could have utilized it at least as a prelude/interlude of a superhit song.

He finds the metronome (or tempo) by watching the lights go off in rhythm. Adharvam, 1989. Liken this to Raaja schooling Kamal and Singeetham on how Mozart found his metronome for a score he was writing while billiards was being played in Amadeus. The strokes of the ball on the board were Mozart's metronome. That was film engineering metronome from music. It's the reverse here.
