Biggest hit album of GA in his career, vAzhvE mAyam, had that song by KJY

Though the song is not a personal favorite, I must acknowledge that it was so popular and got played everywhere during that time period in TN.

V S Narasimhan worked with IR's team for a long time (mainly as violinist and possibly as conductor at times) and played the solo violin portion in many songs and other works of IR. The most popular ones being the instrumental track in rAja pArvai and the HTNI album.

He became a TFMD and did his first movie with KB as director. Later, he did a movie for the same production house with another director of that company

This KJY song was quite popular those days - BTW, the girl acting in that became wife of "panneer pushpangaL Suresh"

While trying to identify more KJY hits, I ended up listening to this V Kumar song after a long time.

Well, this was not a hit (not even a "radio hit") - so cannot be counted in this thread. However, need to mention this song (which sounds almost like a "remake" of unnidam mayangukiREn song by the same MD)

Adding  a few T Rajendar hits from 80's to this thread (this MD has a great hit rate with KJY, definitely more than 90% in that time period) !

As one can see, not all movies were directed by TR - some were by others and he did work as lyricist / MD.
