IR's other language (i.e. non-Thamizh) audio sleeve pics

We have a vinyl thread in this forum that hosts audio pictures from IR's Thamizh films (more than 400 of them!!).

In this new thread, let us collect the pictures of Telugu, Kannadam, Malayalam, Hindi & others

The driver for starting this thread is a set of few pictures sent by fellow forumer skr!

I'll also try to get some from musicalaya website (if at all I can identify the MD's name )

Let's begin with "rudhra veeNA" (Telugu, 1988) :

It seems the 1988 Kamal movie soora samhAram got dubbed into Telugu in 1990 as "Police Diary".

Another dubbed one - thaLabathi as dal-pati in Hindi (the MR movie):

This must be a Telugu original - Tarzan Sundari (1988)

Here's a Kannada one - bhoomi geethA (1997)

OK, one more for the day - this one is from the musicalaya website :

sadmA (Hindi, Kamal / Sridevi / BM / Gulzar) - 1983, the remake of the 1982 Thamizh classic moonRAm piRai.

Accident (Kannada) - A movie with no songs , beleived to be a movie with great background score.
There is a story that IR did the preview & composition in two hours and the whole background score of this movie was recorded in a span of just three hours !!

I've used some Malayalam vinyl covers of rAsA in the 'LEARN TO READ MALAYALAM' thread of the Indian Films section earlier.

For all-in-one-location purposes, I'll get them in this thread one by one!

Also, I'll include any other IR-audio sleeve in musicalaya website that I didn't use in that thread!

Nagarjuna - Sridevi Telugu movie "Akhari pOrAttam" had IR's music in 1988.

I just listened to a SPB-LM song (wikipedia claims movie was blockbuster)

1983 Chiranjeevi-Radhika movie "abhilAshA":

The name sounds very familiar, I could have heard a few songs from this album possibly
(Can't recall the first lines, however)

ora kalai... urakalai kodhavari..... romba famous...... app.. plum ezhudhi ... adha padichu.......  really super one.

Now, this one "abhinandana" of 1987 has an interesting song

Back in IR's "200th film", Ayiram nilavE vA of Thamizh, there was this 'andharangam yAvumE solvadhenRAl pAvamE' song.

When Ashok Kumar (NA winning cinematographer of nenjaththaikkiLLAdhE) made this Telugu movie, he borrowed that melody for 'manju kurisE vElalO', sweetly sung by the top duet pair ever.

Later, when abhinandana got dubbed into Thamizh as "kAdhal geetham", the tune made its reappearance into Thamizh again, in KSC's voice as "boojaiyO"

Dubbing of "Priya" has the name "ajayudu"

Looks like the musicalaya site is maintained by an IRF He differentiates from another film with the same name with adding "MD- Ilayaraja" to the movie's name, vAzhga!

App - maybe VIkram was dubbed into Telugu after Nagarjuna's debut VIkram was released. Title available illaina sollO, padathOda theme-ai title-la sErththu vechurukkAngO.

Vikram(nagarjuna) was a remake of Hero(Subas Guy, sAkki sroff) by the way

It seems there's a guy with similar name in the blog world who is is maligning IR for "not introducing" new singers. These fellows come in all sizes and shapes nowadays
