Interestingly, the film Adutha Vaarisu has four songs with postludes...!

1. Vaa Raasa Vandhu Paaru - Closes with a KUTTHU tabla piece
2. Vaazhga Raani - Song ends with a rushing claps rhythm

Remaining 2 songs has got a very brief postlude... Just a couple of seconds... But still very effective...

3. Pesa Koodadhu - Ends with an extension of a sweet violin piece... Enhancing this song's beauty further
4. Kaveriyae - Ends with a spooky key board piece

Kodai kaala kaatre from Panneer Pushpangal.  Is this the ultimate postlude for a song or what?!  The tempo increases slowly and steadily and reaches a high for the ultimate experience of musical ecstasy.  One of the finest guitar pieces from the Maestro the clap .  The ONLY VERSION of this song on the Internet with this X-tra special postlude.  I have included the timeline in the URL itself.  After a LONG time of watching the movie eons ago on DD, I listened to it again in 2012 only.  But it felt just as fresh as it did back then.

Vaadipatti maapillai enakku from the film Veera Thaalaatu... A typical folkish end with fast rhythms using tabla and other folk instruments... In fact, most of the naatupura paadalgal which IR composed for director Kasthuri raaja had this kind of postludes...  Even Otha rooba tharaen from Naatupura Paatu had a similar finish...
