Loved BGM!!!  Watched back to back 2 shows!  I am not sure why some reviewers are criticizing the music.  Our Rasa does not disappoint at all.  I found that the BGM fit the movie to a T.  Even the songs being cut short seemed very organic and met the needs of the movie. 
The movie is not without flaws but it is definitely worth watching for our maestro's phenomenal score.  I would watch it again.

This is just domestic theater collections. Might end with around 30C adding international revenue by the end of its run. And just about break even with money from TV satellite for film telecast, FM and TV channel rights for song air time. But ya, no scope for success/profits.

Watched Shamitabh movie only for Raaja's music, and it was worth every bit.. Film had a huge scope for bgm as it has more Montage scenes. In the scenes where danish tries to speak, Raaja music speaks for his voice . Raaja's strings and piano aptly fills it and elevates the emotion of the scene to 'vera level'. It's a treat for wcm lovers. And happy moments filled with guitar and synth sounds also holds up the mood of the scene. The bgm for the romance scenes with piano and chorus is master piece. I had a thought, who the real hero is, Amitabh or Raaja's music, as Amitabh is impeccable on screen, but the climax score proved who it is. Shamitabh is ilayaraja as Dhanush says it. Apart from music, it's a well made movie except for the cliche towards the end.
