IR's other language (i.e. non-Thamizh) audio sleeve pics

Devar films 'annai Or Alayam' dubbed (or remade) into Telugu as 'amma evarikaina amma' (1979)

This is quite an interesting sleeve - of the Telugu remake (or dubbing) of dhAvaNi kanavugaL...

There's no rAsA pic but the lyricist's picture is on the LP cover!

Must be a very rare case!!

anurAga sangamam (1986) = idhayakkOyil

hridhayam oka gudi = idhayam oru kOyil

anvEshanA was a popular Telugu hit of 1985, directed by Vamsi.

It got dubbed into Thamizh as 'pAdum paRavaigaL' in 1986 (Karthik, Banupriya)

There are two sets of vinyl covers - one of anvEshanA and another a combo with some Manivannan movie dubbed into Telugu (darja donga)

Darja Donga is telugu original later dubbed into thamizh as Marma Manithan

One of the most interesting vinyl covers that I've stumbled upon today :

April 1 vidudhala (Telugu).

I remember reading somewhere that IR composed for this movie. So, I expected to see his picture on the vinyl cover.

I was surprised that it had another person's picture

Still trusting my memory, I checked wiki that said IR is the MD. Not satisfied with that, I looked at the youtube titles and compared it with google transliteration for "Ilayaraja" & it matched

the other person in the picture is none other than director vamsi

The song chukkallu is a rehash of "chithirai sevvaanam sirikka kanden' sung in telugu by Legend Mano gaaru.
