IAB Lifetime Achievement Award.

There are many deserving individuals out there that deserves it. I know we are not gonna give them an actual physical award. But these individuals need some recognition.

So, thanks to our buddy Plum, who came up with award ideas (albeit for different reason), I thought that we should recognise some folks that has not received the recognition they deserve.

My nomination this year is Panchu Arunachalam. I googled his name and guess what? He doesn't have a fucking entry! His son does, not him. The man who produced and wrote some of the most entertaining Kamal and Rajini films doesn't have a fucking wikipedia entry!!!!!

So, there you go. PA, as we fondly call him, should be our Lifetime Achievement Award nominee (also note his collaboration with IR).

There's also his colloboration with Kannadasan, and though said to have stolen his songs and passed off as his own, he did inspire "paalootti valartha kili" and "neeyum naanumaa". ipdi, adhu oru qualification

BTW, he was there in release function of KarthikRaja's "Andal" and said "Karthik is another of my sons" (Jeebs, not like that, dirty groucho's mind!) and "I am so happy to be here to support him".

Hehe (in Malay they say, direct translation, "yellow brain", don't know why). I am looking at his strong relationship with IR as the main reason for this nomination.

PA is in Thamizh wikipedia , although the content is very small.

Also, I'm not sure about the authenticity of the content. For e.g., it says 'ponnezhil pooththadhu pudhu vAnil' of kalangarai viLakkam is by PA. Is it? (I thought it was by Bharathi Dasan along with 'sangE muzhangu')
