@vrsaran sir posted about the IR-75 program on Sun TV where KSR supposedly talked about this number.

This is in the typical usage of this nadai (emotion-charged-high-speed-number-with-some-religious-connotation). The song changes nadai in its course, which is not unusual - as it happened with many such older numbers.

As usual, always being sensitive to my own ulterior interests , grabbed the song to host in this thread

Not the whole song but towards the end IR switches to the "thaka-thakita" pattern, to get the required effect for the situation.

Not going to add a number to this but need to include / mention in this thread, as this is the typical use of this nadai in TFM songs and IR too chose to stick to this convention in his early days

Another case of "not-the-whole-song-but-towards-the-end-getting-into-thaka-thakita"

Obviously for the high burst of emotions and to keep the audience in grip, this nadai is employed here - in the second saraNam. This is perhaps the traditional use of this nadai in film songs.

My first listen of the "whole song" only today (for Pulavar thread) and that's how identifying this "kaNda nadai"
