This was the response from a youththu when "Rajini Rams" tweeted the picture he took with MSV.

If it's the case with many of that gen, then all those super singer shows that mellisai mannar personally attend possibly failed to make any impact.

Sivakumar says that after watching the movie 'maRu pakkam', MSV was so amazed that he wanted to immediately meet Sivakumar and praise him.

OK, that sounds not so unreasonable.

However, when MSV finally met him (after some failed attempts), per Sivakumar's claim, the mellisai mannar fell down at Sivakumar's feet and paid obeisance!

Shocked

I don't know how others will feel about it, but I'm definitely not liking it!

Another funny thing is Bhavana telling KJY has done 70000 songs (she sure has a built-in-multiplier, at least X10 on her tongue).

If one adds up such claims...KJY 70K, SPB 40K, Mano 30K etc will run into lakhs of songs rotfl

(BTW, KJY carefully replies her that he didn't keep an account of the songs...I would have preferred him blasting her telling how unrealistic that number is...perhaps she adds up EACH TIME he sings ANY SONG, it is count+1. That way, even on that TV show, KJY did his 70001 & 70002 viz. saraNam ayyappA & neeyum bommai)

I was tweeting about a 1972 MSV song for MGR, which follows the same style as "inji iduppazhagi" (or "O pApA lAlee") in the pallavi construct.

It was one of my favorites from 70's ('nallathu kaNNE kanavu kanindhadhu nanRi unakku, uRavil ezhundhadhu anbu viLakku, enadhu madiyil vA, nee vA, seethA, seethA).

Later I found out that it's a ditto copy of a 50's song featuring Frank Sinatra :
