Here too they've hosted only the truncated version (same length as in the individual youtube). The same truncated version exists in other sites too.

Per my memory, it was a full length song with equally sweet saraNam portions.

It was a "radio hit".

Sounds like most of my IR-VJ fav numbers are already covered. Not that I dislike the others but won't be running after (to record / search etc) for the remaining, even though some of them were big hits.

However, as the overall number is not going to be a lot (around 150 may be), we'll continue to host all of them here - with some basic details. This is in line with what I stated as thread objective in the beginning.

That way, the next song is from thanga magan (mAmanAr and not marumagan  )

I remember "sangeetham en dhEgam andro" . I am unable to recollect the other Carnatic beauty. Usha or anybody can pls help. IR has employed rare Carnatic ragas for these songs.

VJ's home ground and how effortlessly her sangathis just flow like
"maNipravAgham". This song exhibits dual raga facets , Rasikapriya on one side and
Kalyani on the other side. Carnatic pundits may please enlighten me whether there is

In between, there is another interesting female duet by VJ and S.P.Shailaja
that I discovered a few years before while browsing rare IR songs from
raga.com site. The song goes something like "chillarai thEvai ippo thEvai".

IMO, the only "ordinary" song in an otherwise fantastic / futuristic / awesome album (despite some comical pAdal varigAl here and there like sooppukku kOzhiyum)
