The tubelight starter finally worked and realised that pradeeptha ratnojwala is a brindavana saaranga. Delightful.
Every turn and contour is textbook Brindavana saaranga and the instrumentation and arrangement shows Raaja's love and 
respect for that Raaga and the lyrics of Adi shankara. 

Coming back to Bhajeham Sivoham - finally this one tips the balances to its favour. The song on the other side of the balance was "Om Sivoham"
This one is much better than om sivoham - both are companion pieces set to same raaga - hamsanandhi. but the singing in this one is several notches 
over om sivoham. The interludes are beautiful and trance inducing..

One question. Is Bhajeham Sivoham a traditional composition (composed by any saint), like Ayyemetha Kadinam? or is it a completely new composition by Raaja? Asking because Suresh wrote in his post: http://sureshs65music.blogspot.in/2015/01/swappnam-music-for-your-dreams.html " The song is the famous Bhajeham Bhajeham which has been tuned and sung by many people."

bhjeham is a popular kirtan tuned differently by different people. raaja joins the list..

Tune composed by Raaja is new. The song as such with its lines is a traditional song.

It is a new composition and that is the reason I tried the comparison with om sivoham from naan kadavul. Finally we have another Raaja song that topples Om sivoham in the same raaga. Question is who can do this after raaja? All detractors of Raaja have to answer this question before falling on the feet of olli pichaan, puyal,trivedi etc., In Raaja's generation we atleast had KVM(pugazendhi), MSV, Dakshinamoorthy, Bombay Ravi etc., who could do this kind of songs/albums. Present generation, I dont see anyone remotely capable of doing this, except Sharreth (long shot) and Karthik Raaja (wild guess). Thing to ponder for music fans..

IMHO, you're much more qualified to review music / albums than many fellows who are currently claiming to be in such profession!
