Organizing, tagging, managing music collections

Couldn't find a related thread, so had to create a new one. This is not strictly an IR topic, so mods can move it as applicable.

Back when I had more time (and a small IR library), would explore the details of each song/album, and make sure the singers, movie names, movie lead cast, year was tagged within each file. With music collections becoming larger, I have not been able to continue that.

Am sure a lot of you have larger music collections, so am curious to find out how you have it all tagged and organized.
