could not believe the good inside walt evaporated completely with that threat on hank..
hank looks very weak/poor, dono if its intentional or he could not emote differently..
and marie has taken the annoying role or skyler when she talks to hank... now that skyler has gone one step ahead by just annoying everybody with her stare...
cant believe what made skyler to forget what all hank and marie did to them before she took sides with walt to corner them... atleast "are u sure walt?" dialogue was misplaced... he shd hav convinced her anyway..

is it like the writing asking us to take sides with the Bad absolutely?? trying to say that if we travel along the life of such a person, we naturally swing towards the bad side throwing away the morals??

only thing i can do is to stop judging and just observe...

except for the kickass video tape, 5.10 >> 5.11

Yov, he poisoned a child who did no harm to him. And as it stood that day (before Jesse realized the poison thingi) Hank was his ONLY threat. I mean finishing him would have meant he could easily spend the rest of his life with that chessy 'Have an A-1 day' wishes. But family FAMILY FAMILY comes first.

As for Jesse, I think most ladees like him more than Walt. And based on some comments I read in social networking his character has as many fans as Walt's. So I could see many rooting for him now.

I personally prefer Walt killing himself or Jesse killing him.

reiterating what AF said, there isn't much of good left inside Walt, when push comes to shove
Hank/Jeese just have to appear to be a threat to Walt/his family and Walt won't bat an eyelid to take them done.

that's the essence of the show, how far the viewers are willing to forgo moralities wrt Walt's actions.Going by your posts here with still seeing good things in Walt seems the BB writers have succeeded on what they were set to do.

In retrospective 512 will be seen as the most boring episode of this season and one of the most boring episodes in BB ever. But I was OK with it. I see what the writers intended do. Trying to bring every character to sort of a logical closure and position all of them for the finale. But yeah at least 20 minutes of wasted footage.

Liked it, can't expect every episode to have the same adrenaline rush, entire episode was a tease like the initial minutes @ Walt's house,leading up to something though nothing really happens but this ep after a long time had Walt cornered without much of options left which again sets up nicely for things to break really bad. 

Marie's counselling part was a big meh, fantasies about killing seem a bit forced. Also, BB writers want to undo all of accumulated Skylar hate by turning her into Lady Macbeth. Can't fathom why it took so long for Hank to get Gomez on board.again less of Marie with the shrink and lot more of Hank confiding diffidently with Gomez about WW would have been perfect.

Jesse was the only thread which kept Walt from going totally insane, without which can see this train go completely off the rails. What fun it would be if Jeese throwaway the recipe for bluemeth like he did in 'Blood money'

Now I am fairly sure how is it going to end. Hank dies (His phone call to Marie was surely the last time he is ever going to talk to her), Gomez dies Jesss may survive. And in the final episode Walt needs to put the M60 to use to take down uncle Jack and his bunch of loonies. So that we all will end up rooting for Walt, again? That's where they are taking us based on his last minute 'It's off'. And the ricin is definitely for his personal use.

Hank with such brilliant moves (lets not get into the 'plausibility' angle) just what was needed so that he dies a hero? And uncle Jack and gang, who planned execution of 10 people within 5 minutes in various prisons, no less, taking so long to shoot down Gomi/Hank with clear shots ahead of them? That was so dramatic, Vince.

And not even a single frame of new footage shown in the promo? Wow, I think we can put all our guesses to rest after the next episode.

Hank and Gomez shout out they are cops. That's why they stall. Also, they ask hank and gomez to show em some id's. Shit gets tense once they see Walt in the car.


That car rush to the money spot was fantastic. Runnin red lights and speedin in the middle of the road with the camera underneath. HW, Learn to choreograph action scenes like this. Leave the drama, one could blindly recommend BB to anyone just for action choreography.

Should rewatch it but I thought even after the shootout started, they had an open shot for Hank/Gomie. They don't take cover until a minute or two.

The shootout was good but editing made it weakest part of the show, that cliffhanger was BS now we have to wait till next ep to see how many may wind up dead. would have been great had they cut as soon as the first shot was fired instead we had the ordeal of watching Neo-Nazis spray their bullets for minutes only to cause indentations in the vehicle without a single clear shot, who are they kidding? AMC  

Though the buildup to the shootout was so effing tense..had me watching almost through my fingers Jesse calling him 'Walt' for the first time was kind of weird. What was weirder was for a guy who is touted to be always a step ahead of others to be seen falling/tricked by Jeese's blowfish act

Completely agree on the shootout. Spraying so many bullets and not even one hit. Even a missed bullet should have caught somebody. 

Reg, Jesse calling him walt: It was a long time coming, the relationship(callhing him Mr. White) is completely sour. He even spits on him(Good touch there, Vince).

The entire writing/directing team is top class. World class stuff.
