Good first day, could have been a wicket or two less. Great comeback after the lunch jiggle. I expect more from Kohli, Dhawan, Pujara and Rahane. Steady century by M Vijay (maiden century away from home) which brought us back the game. Need to learn a lot from SL team and how they performed in the just away series in England.

The Big Test turned to be a dinky test..seriously whats the point in playing overseas
with Kotla like bounce..this is like India playing against Saffers/Oz on a Nagpur green mamba..for once
I concur with grieving/mourning Eng scribes/ex-players  Smile

On the first day, Eng bowled well to pick up as many wickets as they did..actually adv Eng given
Fat Binny/Jadoo are next to bat. I just couldn't wrap my mind around with Ind playing these 2 half bats/bowlers
in a first test of a overseas series. akin to how 2 half-bats in Yuvi/Raina played in the 11 last time when Ind toured Eng.

Wiz oh Wiz - idhu ennenna kOlam ? Srini has done a deal with Clarke-A? adhu epdi CSK playerku mattum England vitu kodukkudhu?

only tick mark left is Tony's 100 to shun his critics..flat pitch or not Dhoni against new ball is a sight to behold  noteworthy
If Binny scores a 50 or picks up a wicket another tick to Dhoni mouthing off 'Experts would have told me....

Steady century by M Vijay (maiden century away from home)

Athers was waxing eloquently about his technik viz-a-viz Joe Root..who would have guessed
a Chepauk bully like him would carry his bat against Steyn/Jimmy..poor Mukundan..jathagam seriyilla  Embarassed

for all the abuse that gets directed towards Captain Sook none has raised finger @ Tony who after a session of good captaincy
reverted to old habits when Barbie started attacking the bowlers and lost the plot completely as he does always in test cricket.
like his batting guess even whilst captaining he could only be switched on for a session utmost. only 'cricketanalyst' Hughes had the balls to call it

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/cricket/international/10964178/England-v-India-MS-Dhoni-deserves-just-as-much-stick-as-Alastair-Cook-after-James-Anderson-and-Joe-Root-stand.html

Tony should take cue from Afridi who withdrew himself from captaincy in the middle of the Eng summer.honestly donno what Dhoni gains by hanging onto test captaincy.

spot the pitch..wish the grass remains when the match starts

Is Captain Sook on a mission to make kaptaan Tony look good or what? horrendous in the last
session..had 5 peeps on the boundary for Shami..would have made Shami's father very proud  Smile
though we can always count on Tony to win this bout.
by bring the molestation charges against Daisy Jadugar has made himself undroppable  Suspect
for a Chepauk bred Mijay its bizarre that he often gets strangled down the leg same as with Che with water tight defense lets one sneak through
the gate..Ajinkya's innings @ Durban was far better than this..here he was doing Khols job of munching off some very tired bowlers.

nicking a delivery from Pissant..puppy shame Captain Sook  Surprised same for manipayal..many predicting India's victory haven't factored Captain cool's midas
touch in snatching a draw from jaws of test victory..whatever may be the result Dhoni should ask Binny to bowl/captain last 10 overs of the test.
ESS were overtly soft on Binny and Dravid going out of his way in defending him  Mad

After Dhoni's short ball instructions to Ishant came off, Dhoni fans-a kaila pudikka mudiyala Mad. And the English media hailing Dhoni as great kaptaan for this tactic Sleep. What about Binny? What about Jimmy's 81? What about years of mismanagement? Dhoni saying his last tour to England was the bestest thing about the win Laughing

Rahane is the find of these away tours (SA,NZ,Eng). Can bat a number higher.
Pujara despite all his past glut of runs seems to have lapses in concentration and no luck at all to get through these lapses.
Kohli has not even arrived for the tour yet, he is just holidaying in UK with another useless Sharma. It is fun to see the English commies hyping Kohli's every boundary and then go all sad when he gets out. They desperately want him to do well.
Dabang shoulder-a erakki paathuchu ethi paathachu, onnum vegamattengudhu. Pokemon might do better than him but don't think he will get a game.

Eng commies have fallen in love with his high backlift and sure-leaves outside the off. Handled the short ball much better than Rahane. I had always backed him so feels good.

After Dhoni's short ball instructions to Ishant came off, Dhoni fans-a kaila pudikka mudiyala

Donut wasted no time to trumpet that it was his plan and his only. plan/the delivery to get Moeen Ali before the lunch was a good one, it was a
Rainasque dismissal..post lunch it wasn't even a subtle plan with 3 on the ropes..it was just Eng low order kittens reliving
their Ashes post-traumatic stress disorder which played right into Tony's hand but to think that Pisshant who has played 50+ tests and India's bowling spearhead needs to be 'instructed' on what to do when is :headbang: during start of day 5 he said the plan to go over the wicket to get Sook was Duncans who insisted that he goes over for lefties.

makes you wonder what would be his IQ, given his manner of speaking and his past interviews of trying
to copy Zak's action/still seeking help from all and sundry to correct his wrist position..wouldn't surprise me if he is suffering from some sort of dyslexia.
contrast it to Bhuvi who is bowling/batting like a test veteran.

And the English media hailing Dhoni as great kaptaan for this tactic Sleep.

with Captain Sook even Azhar would look like a tactical genius.

On Binny, Dhoni was seeking to send a message to selectors..shaming by denying him any role to play.icing was the retarded shot
he played to get out in 2nd dig...he never really gave him a good spell on Day 2 or none on 2nd dig..didn't attempt
at catching a nick off him but did a somersault to catch down the leg off Bhuvi  laugh

Rahane is the find of these away tours (SA,NZ,Eng). Can bat a number higher.

Ajinkya and Naman Ojha/Uttapam's resurgence recently..all from Pravin Amre's school of batting..Amre must be the most
sought after batting coach in the country now, dono why Nohit never seeks any help from him.
Jinx is India's future no. 4.

Kohls is still green in the tests..getting to represent Ind very early in tests has its pitfalls.
he is at a disadvantage viz-a-viz Che/Ajinkiya/Nohit who have more or less worked their batting rhthym in tests with all their dog days @ ranjis.
blaming the other Sharma for his lack of runs is a easy cop-out..looking back his/Dhonis troubles in tests are very similiar.
both just can't resist having a go at the ball outside off/odi shots like dabs to third man are a  common theme, Kohls just nicks them stylishly with slightly better footwork and Dhoni with his hockey teknik is all hands.

Dabang shoulder-a erakki paathuchu ethi paathachu, onnum vegamattengudhu

aggressive opener is a must with Mijay in Akashwani mode...Mijay quota of runs is done for the tour, will slack, doubt we would
get any meaningful contribution henceforth, Ashwin can be drafted in his place..this looks like the only way he would get
a gig Neutral

Pokemon might do better than him but don't think he will get a game.

should play @ 6 if Kohls woes continues..Rohit/Dhoni/Jaddu will be a disaster..can't rely on Bhuvi always for bail outs.

DK ok, who cares - 12.5 cr a year, beetiful wife - just enjoy life man.

should send this q to DD BSNL sports quiz, connection point between India's tour of Eng 2007/2014

Tbh, thought Mijay was very impressive. Never had high opinions but the Lord's test has slighta converted me. Won't be surprised if Mijay ends up as our highest scorer this tour. Expecting Ashwin for Panni. Better bat, more useful bowler. Remaining team can remain unchanged. However, if Naai Segar Dhawan fails in the next 2 tests, won't be bad trying Sombhir. But with Soni around, doubt only. Oh and Rahane and Bhuvi the clap Bhuvi ending up as Man of the Series if this form continues with bat and ball. Jaddu and Pissant :yeskap AyittAn ya:

Even with my lack of interest these days in cricket, I couldn't help notice the hilarity of England crumbling to er, sub-135 long hops.  How ridiculous can the Poms get!  Vaazhkai oda leelai idhu dhan, a famous Lords victory coming through the sheer brainlessness of English batsmen.

Ozzies must be thankful to Dhoni miyan/yoeng indian batters for doing some irretrievable damage to Eng's Ashes prospects
Captain Sook long rope aside, save for Bell/Root don't think Eng batters have it in them to bat out
a session. Moeen would have his fingers knackered by Mitchells before he could revert to his magical offies.
If Finn doesn't run into any kind of form, their support bowlers will be plummeted to the ground.

India's Eng virgin bowlers surprisingly held up pretty well even without their spearhead Isshaant.
expectedly with Mijay quota of runs done, top order bats are finding it a tough sailing against new ball.

Kohls nicks to slips each time with Edgewardhene's precision . the clap
should seriously think of shaving off the edge of his bat a la Freddie's Ashes bats  Smile

Coffin to watching India play test matches. So ashamed and disappointed. England were not that great, just that there is absolutely no spirit or temperament in any Indian batsmen. Even when India drew and won the first two test match I was skeptical as it was through bowlers and through bowlers who batted well. I thought the top and middle order batsmen will improve in the remaining four matches. Losing from 1-0 up is really a shame that too with innings defeat in last two, absolutely not pardonable. Sack the whole team including the captain (except Bhuvi who showed some character and occasional flourishes from Vijay and Rahane). These guys are paid heavily and they think it was a honeymoon vacation to London?
