-TF field lost a competitor to Vivek / Vadivel and IR was to blame (Mano would have made it reasonably big as a comedian, look at his reactions to Pulamaippiththan)

App, as for Mano, all the manathOdu manO episodes are a must watch particularly for him. His reactions and the pongals are unbelievably hilarious. I am still hunting for the Guitar Prasanna show (for a different reason) in which his ignorance and the unintentional comedy reached new levels. "Enakkaaga oru Jaaws (Jazz-aththaan apdi solvaapla) melody vaasichchu kaattunga". And his most favorite reaction to the awesomeness of the guest is the 'tch tch tch' which we all use to seek the attention of a dog

I love the roller-coaster of a song 'nEththu oruththara oruththaru pAththu' from pudhuppAttu. A lovely IR-KSC duet!

Even after the break-up during pudhuppudhu arththangaL, it appeared some residual movies kept coming out from Kavidhalayam banner with IR as MD.

Ameer Jan's "unnaichchollikkutramillai" starring Karthik - Sithara...

Prabhu had another movie "rAjA kaiya vechchA" whose title picked the famous pallavi line from Kamal's aboorva sagOdhararkaL hit

'mazhai varudhu mazhai varudhu kudai koNdu vA' is a nice number from this album...

Sathyaraj had "nadigan" directed by P Vasu and it had two SPB hits per my memory from the SPB-IR thread...

'ArArO pAttuppAda nAnum thAyillai' is a lovely song and one of my favourites from the Parthiban movie 'poNdAtti thEvai' (what a title )

Don't know much about this 'siRaiyil sila rAgangaL' album It has the "always-college-student" Murali on the picture...





Since thiraipaadal is not available, can't quickly scan the songs and find out if I've heard before

Similar case : 'nee siriththAl deepAvaLi'...cannot say if I've heard or before unless I listen to the tracks (and too lazy to google around today)...from the vinyl pic, cannot say who was the hero & heroini...

it is a decent movie - one of those investigative movies with some intriguing plot. worth a watch for decent acting by karthik and kanaga.
