Yes, sema thadavu thadavuraanga. Mad Does Monty deserve this much credit? No temperament at all for playing in test cricket. Is this a score that too when playing in India? See the SA in second test, they saved an improbable test match and won the last one in style outside their home that too against Aus.

Wiz - Captain fool set for a face-saving half-century/century. Another 10 tests assured :banghead:
Kohls will score a century in the remaining innings of the series comfortably to stay alive

Pujara, if he fails once more, will have a sword over his head. Because there are no advertising big bucks riding on him - Indian cricket is run by Pepsi and Hero Honda I guess(Pepsina Pepsi illai, adhu oru Agu peyar)

13.5
Khan to Cook, no run, edged and put down at first slip I think, genuine edge, a pretty thick one too and Pujara low to his right boot has let it slip through his hands. Cook didn't get far enough forward and nicked a ball that just shaped away from him

Che is still standing @ first slip with his shin pads et al. Captain Fool Twisted Evil Mad Evil or Very Mad

English are giving a masterclass in bowling and batting in India.

We need a reboot. This warring Delhi gang and Rhiti sports gang needs to be kicked out first. Eng 3-1 will contribute immensely to future of Indian cricket IMO. Or maybe not since the main culprits are coming up with just-enough-to-save-career knocks now.

To Ashwin, as the great man said ooooooooooooo.

Cook will definitely overtake Sachin's Test 100s and runs. After 10/20/30 years, he will be described as the most elegant batsman in the world EVER with additional eulogies over how he never broke a sweat despite batting for hours together :banghead:.

England winning two tests comfortably.

Hoping Dhoni and many others getting sacked.

Tendulkar retiring.

Dhoni got trolled big time cheers

PB, Indian cricket's resurrection started @ Eden 2001/02 and its only poetic its end there.

only thing left to see is whether ATG will run himself out or edge it to slips/Sehwag would then scrap around for a 50 in the second innings for the plan to bear fruit.

hopefully Seenu Maama will run of excuses after 3-1 and will be pushed to sacking Captain Fool. exciting timesm Very Happy

SS,

Pace has dropped considerably. With good pace he could certainly trouble cook like before. Even in last year 1st test he managed to trouble all the top 3 before getting injured. Not getting enough support from fellow pacers also. Not enough motivation from anybody around too maybe. 34 is a declining age of FB's. Hope we at-least draw this test. WE NEED A MIRACLE.

last years efficiency was supported by the pace from those pitches i believe... i did not see many good performances after the WC...

i really wonder if the he/his captain/the coach are really bothered about making a comeback... him being a self-developed bowler should not take more than one year to come back to form... remember we are playing in home conditions now...

Blame some on our Captain cool for our bowler's mediocrity too. Even today as wizz pointed out there was no short leg(??) when we had chances.

Che is still standing @ first slip with his shin pads et al. Captain Fool Twisted Evil Mad Evil or Very Mad

A couple of years ago, at an Indian Premier League match in Bangalore, Cheteswara Pujara was seen fielding in the deep with his shin pads on. That was then joked about and quickly forgotten because it was seen as a youngster’s way of saving time. What is good enough for Twenty20 is clearly not good enough for Test cricket, for the shin-clad Pujara at first slip might have dropped the catch of the match at Eden Gardens on Thursday (December 6). It is possible his shin pads made it difficult to get down for the low catch. Alastair Cook was on 17 then, and the catch came hard and low to Pujara, as catches sometimes tend to do in the slips.

After the retirement of Rahul Dravid and V V S Laxman India are yet to find settled fielders in that crucial position. Asked why Virender Sehwag was not at slip, Trevor Penney, India’s fielding coach, said, “Pujara has been practising at slip. He dropped a catch, such things happen.”

Also practising at slip where he stood briefly on the second day was R Ashwin, the offspinner. “Our plan,” said Penney, “is to field everybody everywhere.”

this team is surrounded by bunch of retards, good riddance!

both were jogging for the first two runs thinking that it would have been a boundary... still, can't blame Gambhir on this as he said 'no'...

the way England play, they must be feeling at home (including the crowd support as I read 80% were English at eden gardens)... Test team should undergo a complete makeover after this series irrespective of the result...Twisted Evil

:roflmax: before the series even Kohls was kuvu'ing about the flat practice pitches in Oz/Eng which denied him the chance to acclimatise.

RR, even after 8-0 drubbing cricinfo alakais like Manju/Bhogle didn't raise a finger at Captain fool so expecting changes irrespective of the result is Laughing
for assurance we need a odi whitewash against Eng(will hurt cricket watching Indian public/BCCI the most) to fasten the makeover. for long any criticism on Kaptaan is been flat batted with worldcup win thingy, yam starting to wonder why the hell we won that god darn WC Embarassed

Spot on about the Kohli ODI hype @ being compared with Tendulkar. Would love to see the faces of pre-tournament talkers like GG,VK and Naina. Ishanth dropped a dolly it seems, there you go the story of future indian cricket in a single line.

I hope India loses 3-1 and everybody gets a lot of shitee. There is a complete overhaul required. Dhoni would be the first to lose 10 test matches in less than 1 and a half years.
