yam very skeptical about India's chances, Eng have always put up a better fight than OZ in their last 2 tours against a strong Indian test side.
Eng have got all their bases covered, Monty/Swann can do as much as damage as their Indian counterparts on a square turner and their quickies
are light years ahead of us which makes it even more distressing Embarassed

P.S punting on Ashwin to top the batting charts for India

Laughing . Ashwin may score more than Gambhir/Dhoni.

Blame the spinners who couldn't utilize the scoreboard pressure and 3rd/4th day pitch to bowl the opposition out. With Dhoni likely to be removed from T20 team, DK's form makes him the first choice for Indian T20 team. apdiye nool pudichu vara vendiyadhudhaan.

India 2 - 0.

India
Best bowler - Ojha.
The 50+ averaging opening duo would get a big hundred each. Sehwag might even make a big daddy.
Che's compulsive hooking might get him in trouble against England attack.

England
Only cameos from KP with Cook getting sumaal daddy tons.

Kaaling - romba dhaan aasai. D(K) is now about 5th or 6th choice behind Dhoni, Saha, Parthiv, Naman, Smit Patel etc.
As for the TN match, fundamentally, TN need to learn from the likes of Maharashtra, Rajasthan etc the safety first approach. Look at Maharashtra - everyone mocked at them for declaring only at 764/6. But, in the end, RAina's friends managed to almost chase it down. If they had declared earlier?

TN needs to understand that. Ofcourse, 538 gave you a chance of 3 points but extending it would have guaranteed that Karnataka wont get 3 points and the sheer boredom and helplessness might have helped to get them out and a chance of 3 points anyway.

Problem is in such situation TN takes a veyr bookish, British, gendilman approach. The dressing room needs a overhaul, a nAdhari presence. modhalla TiruvallikENi thayir saadham makeup of the team needs to be changed Evil or Very Mad

Kaaling, scorecard pressure-a Question , TN's top 6 getting to 50+ only points to pattaness of the track where 500 is bare minimum.
D(k) should have batted time and closed any chance of Karnataka overhauling the score within the stipulated time
more so with the inexperienced attack TN had fielded for the game with as many as 4 bowlers playing only <10 matches in total.
I put the blame squarely on batsmen for batting defensively in the beginning(read Badri) and then rushing the declaration when they had no reason to do so. They didn't learn anything from last year's Ranji finals where Rajasthan provided a masterclass on batting time/boring the opp. to submission.

we need to talk about Badri/his worthiness in the side, yam already seein his negative influence(read dabs to 3rd man) creeping into Baba Jnr's game Suspect

Plum, talk about covering all the jinx bases rabbit

I got 19/25, with 2 questions missed due to poor hand-eye coordination, selecting the wrong option by a physical menu selection mistake even though I knew the correct answer. I got 8/25 in the SA-Aus quiz.

Eng quickies didn't come hard @ out of form Indian openers Surprised thus far they have bowled well within themselves clocking around Kumars speed territory. Eng scribes have already mourning about the pitch, were they expecting a bullring in India Laughing

Swann's bowling is a delight to watch. Trott's appeal Laughing.

Pujara played well. He never lost concentration or look like throwing it away after the start. At times was unable to rotate the strike against spinners. And Dravid was quick to point out in commentary that Pujara doesn't have sweep shot which restricts his scoring opportunities against spinners.

We have to work hard to take 20 English wickets. They are not Bangladesh.
Sehwag trolling Bangbros Very Happy.

ATG will taunt us with this 100 runs opening stand for the next 5 yrs Mad

Dravid's TMS debut cheers

Che looked lot more comfortable against Swann than he did against Jeets Patel, wasn't really tested on short pitch stuff.
expect Eng to test him with the second new ball.

expect this article to be plugged all over twitter if and when he gets his 100 Laughing
